Ex-England and Glamorgan batter and ECB boss Morris dies
Former England and Glamorgan cricketer and ECB boss, Paul Morris, has passed away at the age of 59. Morris had a successful playing career as a top-order batsman and represented both England and Glamorgan with distinction.
After retiring from playing, Morris went on to have a successful career as an administrator, serving as the Chief Executive of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). He was instrumental in growing the game and making it more accessible to fans and players alike.
Morris will be remembered not only for his achievements on the field but also for his contributions to the game off the field. He will be greatly missed by the cricketing community and leaves behind a lasting legacy.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Morris’ family and loved ones during this difficult time. He will always be remembered as a true ambassador for the sport of cricket.
Rest in peace, Paul Morris.
