England ‘can’t ignore’ Exeter’s Fisilau – Walder

Former England fly-half Ryan Walder believes that England can no longer afford to ignore the talent of Exeter Chiefs’ scrum-half, Haydn Fisilau.

Walder, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, has been impressed by Fisilau’s performances in the Premiership and believes he has what it takes to make an impact on the international stage.

“Fisilau has been outstanding for Exeter this season,” Walder said. “His speed of thought, passing ability, and game management have all been top class.”

With England currently lacking depth in the scrum-half position due to injuries and retirements, Walder believes Fisilau should be given a chance to prove himself at the highest level.

“England can’t afford to ignore a player of Fisilau’s quality,” Walder added. “If he continues to perform as he has been, he deserves a call-up to the national team.”

Exeter Chiefs have been one of the dominant teams in the Premiership in recent years, and Fisilau has been a key part of their success.

With the Six Nations approaching, England head coach Eddie Jones will have some important decisions to make regarding his squad selection.

Whether Fisilau will be included remains to be seen, but if Walder’s assessment is anything to go by, the Exeter scrum-half could soon be making his international debut.

Only time will tell if Fisilau will get his chance to shine on the international stage, but one thing is for sure – he’s a talent that England ‘can’t ignore’.
