Torvill & Dean and Wiegman recognised in New Year Honours

Figure skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have been honored in the New Year Honours list for their contributions to the sport.

The pair, who famously won the gold medal at the 1984 Winter Olympics with their iconic performance to Ravel’s Boléro, have been awarded OBEs for their services to figure skating.
